A Lament of Haunted England

I've been writing (& re-writing - & now greatly expanding) this poem for roughly twelve years (on & off)...

I believe this piece finally, adequately conveys my homesickness for the mythic England of my childhood imagination while also reconciling it with the ever ongoing sins of its Imperial Project.
